AUTHOR PROFILE
Devon Reeser

Devon is a professional writer by trade and by passion! Over an 18 year career, she has helped more than 400 non-profits, international NGOs, government agencies, schools and social entrepreneurs write grant proposals and strategic content for fundraising and brand management. Her specialty is international development and environment. She holds an MA in that field from the University of Wyoming, which she received as part of a program with the United States Peace Corps. From 2010 to 2012, Devon lived and worked in a rural community in the interior of Paraguay for over two years, supporting business skills development and climate resilience amongst high school students, women’s groups and local agricultural stakeholders. During that time, she fell in love with Paraguay and with her now husband. Devon and her family live on a working agro-forestry project, caring for 5,000 trees, a handful of cows, ducks, chickens, dogs and a very lazy cat. She has a BA in English and political science and avidly reads modern literature. One of her favorites is Donna Tartt’s The Goldfinch, with Richard Powers’ The Overstory and Barbara Kingsolver’s Prodigal Summer taking a close second and third.
